We would like to grow our network of high school art teachers who practice TAB(Teaching for Artistic Behavior) or any similar methodologies in their secondary classrooms. This includes Choice-based Art Education and Studio Thinking/Studio Habits of Mind. We will meet at a private home for a bbq/potluck and an open discussion of student-directed curriculum and instruction at the secondary level. Please bring a dish or drink to share, and be prepared to share your current learner-directed teaching practice, specifically how you plan to open up the year in the first weeks of school.
