Drawing and Painting I and II Watercolor, Pencil (graphite & colored), Acrylic, Mixed Media Oil and Charcoal experience 3 Dimensional Design I & II Clay, Mixed Media and experience loading and running an electric kiln preferred Relief carving with Balsa Foam, Paper Mach Figure Construction and Found Object Armatures Graphic Design Proficiency required in Adobe Creative Suite software Rubric based objective grading of all projects, including the final project as well as running class critiques and self and peer assessments. Participate in professional development opportunities and monthly department meetings; support school-wide academic initiatives Additional duties as assigned by Department Chairperson Related Responsibilities: NAHS Moderator, completion of projects determined by current moderator Art Club Moderator, completion of projects determined by current moderator Advisory Teacher Requirements: Ability to teach all levels, 9-12 Ba or BFA in Art, teacher certification grades 9-12 preferred Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software G Suite proficiency and prior use of Google Classroom preferred
