2.) From Moving Everest website: We are looking for an outstanding individual to teach art at the elementary level of our school in the 2018-19 school year. We are adding 4th grade next year (K-4) and need an individual who has a strong set of experiences and is committed, passionate, dedicated, and relentless about changing lives. The Art teacher must be skilled at using/teaching a variety of mediums and plans and delivers in-person instruction for 450 kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade, and fourth grade scholars’ daily. The teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering instruction, and monitoring scholar progress to determine instructional needs. The teacher reviews scholar progress and changes instruction to ensure high-progress learning for every child. The teacher is responsible for establishing a strong classroom culture in collaboration with the members of grade level and fine arts team. In addition, the teacher will be required to complete all other professional responsibilities to ensure the success of scholars and Moving Everest Charter School. The art teacher must be able to demonstrate a track record of success in the classroom. Teachers either need to be certified in the state of Illinois or able to become certified.
