Curation Focus: Staging and Exhibition

Teachers will work in teams to curate and install artworks for the Illinois High School Art Exhibition. Teachers will collaboratively analyze, select, and curate artworks on multiple gallery walls with the intent to create a balanced show of works of diverse media, scale, and content.
8:30: Lead Presenter presents information on the process, a demonstration of tools and equipment, and an overview of the curatorial goals.
9: Teachers break into groups, select works for a wall, and make preliminary arrangements.
10:30 Teachers finalize selected works & install wall
10:30-12:30 Team continues the process for 2 more walls
