May 4 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Join us on May 4, 10-3, at Fine Line for this Kumihimo workshop! Kumihimo is a Japanese form of braiding that has become very popular in recent years in making jewelry. You’ll be making a partially beaded kumihimo necklace (18-22” long). Each participant will receive a kumihimo loom and bobbins and all materials to make the necklace with a magnetic clasp. After making it, you get to keep the loom for more projects! Join us in this meditative practice. Bring your own lunch, but a few Japanese snacks will also be served.
Workshop Fee (includes Kumi loom, plastic bobbins, cord, and beads):
$20.00 for CURRENT IAEA members
$25.00 for Non-members
4 Professional Development Hours Available
