Register: Make Art, Make Change- Elmhurst Art Museum Tour and Hands-on Workshop

Join fellow art educators for a docent-guided tour of Resisting the Long War: A Revolution of Values features works by 11 artists and military veterans who have turned away from militarism towards solidarity. Following the tour, participants will take part in an art-making project in the studio: wire sculptures inspired by exhibiting artist Gina Herrera's self-portrait sculptures incorporating found objects. Come experience the exhibition, engage in conversation, and discover ideas for making meaningful connections to your own teaching practice.
