Band boosters have showed me how to create a third rail in the politics of education. Most board members and administration are either smart enough to know it would be political toxic to go after band or they are extremely supportive, which is why most likely they are a board member. But every once in awhile you get one person or a group that have agenda and need the push back. Learn from our music comrades!
