Stevenson High School – Lincolnshire, ILDate Available:02/01/2019Stevenson High School is looking for an individual to plan and support Odyssey, a biennial, two-day fine arts festival. During Odyssey, more than 160 visual and performing artists share their skills and insights through performances, lectures, and hands-on workshops for all of Stevenson’s students. Students explore classes in dance, music, media, theatre, visual arts and much more.The next Odyssey is scheduled for February 2020. Creative planning for Odyssey takes place year-round during on and off years. This contracted position offers flexible scheduling with responsibilities that take place both in and out of the building. To find out more about our programs please visit our website at: http://www.d125.org/odyssey.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains artist directory and email accountAssists with seeking and recruiting artists, artist negotiations and contractsOversees artist mailings and communication Collects artist supply, materials, and technology requestsPlans course offerings and registration process Develops content for day of event packets and materials Serves as liaison for Odyssey Club Assists with creation of surveys and organizes data for analysis Seeks grants, donations and facilitates Odyssey publicity & brandingOther duties as assignedEducation, Licensure, and Experience:BA, BS or BFA in Fine Arts related field is preferred. Skills and Abilities:Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to set priorities, organize tasks, work independently and work collaboratively as part of a team  Ability to work effectively with all members of the Stevenson CommunityPossess a good command of English language, grammar, spelling and punctuationComfortable with current technologies (Mac, Google Suite, Social Media…etc.)Apply Here:https://www.applitrack.com/district125/onlineapp/default.aspx?Category=Support+Staff
