YAM Poster Competition Deadline

All IAEA members are invited to submit entries for this year’s Youth Art Month Poster & Flag Contest. The theme is “Take a Journey through Art”. Not required, but may also include “Illinois” and “Youth Art Month” in the design. Winning artwork will be placed onto a commemorative poster and featured in the IAEA Mosaic Magazine. Winning designs will be on Illinois’ IAEA Youth Art Month Flag that will be on display at the NAEA Convention in Minneapolis in March. Winners will be honored at the IHSAE Student Awards show in March. More details on prizes listed below. No ratio for the work required. Work must be 2-D.

One winner for each category Elementary, Middle and High – will win art supplies for the student worth $100 Retail Value and a certificate; and classroom art supplies for the teacher worth $300 retail value
- One Overall winning student will receive art supplies worth $500; and the Overall winning teacher would receive classroom art supplies worth $ 1,000 retail value
- All participating teachers will win prizes from Sargent Art after completing a participation form.
