If you are a full-time undergraduate or graduate student, you can attend the IAEA 2014 Conference in Lisle, IL on November 6-8 and be reimbursed for half of your conference registration fee by investing six or more hours of service during the conference. Under the coordination of Steven Ciampaglia, IAEA Student Advisor, you will be placed in various volunteer positions. Upon completion of the conference, you will submit your record of service and the reimbursement will be mailed to you after the conference. This volunteer opportunity is only available to FULL TIME students (undergrads with at least 12 registered hours and grad students with at least 9 hours.) You will be able to attend the conference sessions, workshops and special activities while also meeting your service hours. This is a great opportunity to network with art teachers from around the state and become involved with your state professional association. The positions fill fast, so contact Steven Ciampaglia immediately at: [email protected] to enroll in the Student Assistants program. The deadline to enroll is October 11, but the positions fill quickly and are assigned as requests are received.

IAEA members are invited to submit an application for the IAEA Artisan Gallery that will be held during the IAEA conference. The Artisan Gallery will be part of the President’s Reception Friday evening, November 7, in the Savoy Ballroom. You can download the entry form here. The form is also available on the Conference Page on the IAEA website and in the spring Mosaic issue. The deadline to submit an application for the IAEA Artisan Gallery is October 10, 2014.
